Raneh Falls

Raneh Falls is part of Panna National Park in Madhya Pradesh, India. In a normal year, the Ken River drops a few hundred feet in a series of waterfalls. My slideshow shows the rocks and the gorge visible in an exceptionally dry year. The last slide shows a few photos hung up at the ranger station. The upper row shows the same spot as at the start of the slideshow, but in a normal year to the left and in a very wet year to the right. The gorge would be filled with raging waters and even the spot I stood to take the pictures would be covered.
